Excerpt: I must be old school because I focus on the company I am with, and food that is served when I go out to eat. If I want to play with plastic and metal objects that house processors then all I have to do is go home and turn on my laptop or tablet. One reason I go out to eat is to get away from these digital devices. I have lost interest in international travel, and now only focus on the lower 48. From the Gramercy Tavern (NYC) to the Great Lakes Brewery (Cleveland) to Herbsaint (New Orleans) to the Cliff House (San Francisco), my travels have exposed me some great food and wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, the more I travel, the more I observe people paying less attention to their lunch or dinner partners and more and more to their digital devices.
